How to choose your size

Start by finding the helmet model or helmet family you are shopping for, then compare your head circumference to the matching table. The correct size should feel secure around the full crown of your head without painful pressure points.

Helmet sizing can vary by model and head shape. Use this chart as a guide, then confirm the selected size on the product page before adding an item to your cart.

Step 1

Use a flexible measuring tape and measure around the widest part of your head.

Step 2

Keep the tape level, passing around the head at about the midpoint of the forehead and above the eyebrows.

Step 3

Write down the measurement in centimeters and compare it with the correct Agv helmet size table.

Step 4

If your helmet model has its own product-specific size guide, follow the product detail page first.

Measuring tips

  • Measure more than once Take two or three measurements to make sure the number is consistent before choosing a size.
  • Keep the tape snug The tape should sit flat against your head without squeezing or slipping.
  • Use centimeters These Agv helmet tables use centimeters, so use a metric tape or convert your measurement carefully before comparing sizes.
  • Check the model family Some helmet families use standard sizes such as XS, S, M, L, XL, and XXL, while others use split sizes such as MS and ML.

Fit notes

A motorcycle helmet should feel evenly snug when new. It should not move freely when you gently shake your head, and it should not create sharp pressure on your forehead, temples, or the back of your head.

Cheek pads may feel firm at first, especially on full-face helmets, but the helmet should still allow you to focus, breathe comfortably, and close the visor without discomfort.

If you are between sizes

If your measurement falls between two sizes, review the helmet model, your head shape, and the fit notes on the product page. Riders who prefer a secure performance fit may choose the smaller size when it does not create discomfort, while riders who are sensitive to pressure points may need to compare the larger size.

Do not choose a loose helmet for comfort alone. A helmet that shifts too easily may not fit correctly.

Product-detail reminder

Always check the product page before ordering. Some Agv helmets, visors, liners, and replacement parts may have model-specific fit or compatibility notes that are more important than a general size guide.
